Activity & Training Diary
NEXT SESSION TRAINING SESSIONS ARE SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Due to the preparation of the station for our Christmas services, training sessions are suspended until the cafe / waiting room refurbishment is complete. WATCH THIS SPACE.
The new format "5 week activity diary" is now in place. Weeks 1 & 3 continuing are now training sessions covering both railway and non-railway subjects, weeks 2 & 4 are now the model railway club and in week 5 there is no meeting.
Training sessions (Weeks 1 & 3) take place at the Education Centre, Platform 2, Stanhope Station, commencing at 7pm and ending at 9pm. Occassionally sessions may be changed to another day to suit training or operational requirements. Details will be posted on the diary below.
From time-to-time training sessions may involve some outdoor activity or travel by train to another location, for example the Depot at Wolsingham. It should be noted that some sessions may be postponed if a special event is taking place. You will be advised by your Training Coordinator of these dates and of the alternative training session date.
New members will be given the opportunity to catch up on sessions missed. The Training Coordinator will make arrangements for these additional sessions.
Model Railway Club (Weeks 2 & 4) take place at the Admin Block, Stanhope Station, commencing at 7pm and ending at 9pm. Occassionally sessions may be changed to another day to suit training or operational requirements. Details will be posted on the diary below.
